Letle Telt (Little Told) is an album of unaccompanied traditional singing and in the most part is a collection of stories. Many historical, some mythical, almost all have a strong female voice either in the writing or the telling. Half were found in antique Scottish song books and are rarely sung today if at all. The other half are new compositions and have been inspired by tales from Scottish history and lore. Tragedy, comedy, triumph and defeat. All life is here.
